Taiwan has always been a chaotic blend of influences: Chinese, Japanese, Aboriginal, Oceanic, Western. Out of all this, a new generation of local musicians is forging a unique identity. Hard to pinpoint, yet immediately recognizable. Unlike anything else.
Musicians all over the world are doing the same. They are exploring their roots, bravely trying out new ideas, seeking inspiration in cooperation, and discovering their own sound.
We build for explorers
We design stomp boxes for musicians who come together in small, crowded venues, with tough acoustics and temperamental amps, and still want to bring their unique personal sound onto the stage with them.
We are proudly designed and built in Taiwan. We often use locally sourced “Made in Taiwan” electronic components such as vintage germanium diodes that deliver an unmistakable warmth and slightly unusual sound – different from other mass-produced stomp boxes.

When we say “proudly made in Taiwan”, we mean it.
Taiwan used to be the electronics manufacturing capital of the world. A treasure of brand-new vintage electronic components can still be found here – if you know where to look.
We explore the dusty warehouses and basements shelves of distributors in the maze-like Guang Hua district, looking for those unique vintage components that allow us to create our unique warm and authentic sound.
We carefully hand-assemble each of our pedals in our small workshop in Taipei. TaiPedl products are designed and built with love and care. You can feel it, you can hear it.
